We are currently seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Hospitality Commercial Director to lead our dynamic commercial team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality sales, exceptional leadership skills, and a strategic mindset focused on revenue growth across all commercial segments.

About the Role

As the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that drive revenue from group and individual bookings, events, room rentals, and food & beverage operations. You will lead the acquisition of new accounts and territories and nurture existing relationships to exceed revenue targets, while positioning our properties at the forefront of their respective markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage strategic sales initiatives to exceed revenue goals for all properties and across all revenue streams.
  • Lead acquisition of new business accounts and maintain strong relationships with existing partners (Groups, Social Events, Travel Agencies, Tour Operators, OTAs, and Special Interest segments).
  • Execute proactive sales activities including client visits, presentations, travel shows, fairs, and site inspections.
  • Drive all commercial aspects of sales including negotiation, contracting, and closing deals in line with company policies and sound commercial judgment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure seamless execution and service delivery for all accounts.
  • Systematically analyse market trends and competitive positioning to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Design and implement a structured, data-driven business plan.
  • Maintain and expand the hotel's CRM database and community management activities.
  • Coordinate and lead internal salesforce.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, or related field (Master's or MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior hospitality sales or commercial leadership role. Prior experience in a hospitality management company is a distinct advantage.
  • Strong understanding of the high-end/luxury hotel market and hospitality industry trends.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of CRM systems, digital sales tools, and market analytics.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to lead and inspire a team in a data driven and results-oriented environment.
  • Availability and flexibility to travel for fairs, trade shows, and client meetings as required.
