Job Summary

As a Food/Drink Runner, your primary responsibility is to deliver food and beverages promptly, assist the service team, and uphold the high standards of hospitality that define Em Sherif. You will be a key link between the kitchen, bar, and dining room, ensuring our guests' experience consistently exceeds expectations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests warmly and assist in ensuring their comfort.

  • Deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately to tables.

  • Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including resetting tables and assisting with side stations.

  • Polish glassware, cutlery, and chinaware to maintain Em Sherif's quality standards.

  • Assist with opening and closing procedures, including setup, cleaning, and stock refills.

  • Stay informed about daily menus, reservations, and specials.

  • Respond courteously to guest requests, ensuring personalized and attentive service.

  • Collect guest feedback and share relevant insights with management.

  • Comply with hygiene, safety, and grooming standards at all times

Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Minumum 1 year as a Runner.

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong communication skills in English and Greek (both oral and written).

  • Knowledge of Arabic or other foreign languages is an advantage.

  • Familiarity with POS systems preferred.
