Bartender in 1818

1818 is a rooftop speakeasy in Athens, located at The Modernist Athens, serving contemporary urban vibes inspired by its Canadian legacy. As a Bartender at 1818, you will play a pivotal role in delivering an outstanding beverage experience to our guests.

Requirements
  • Craft and serve a wide variety of beverages, ensuring high quality and presentation standards.
  • Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend unique drink options.
  • Maintain an organized and stocked bar, including inventory management and regular cleaning.
  • Demonstrate a friendly and professional demeanor while providing excellent customer service.
  • Collaborate effectively with kitchen and service staff to ensure seamless operations.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations for food and beverage service.

Candidate profile:

  • Passionate about craft beverages and the art of bartending.
  • Effective communicator with a positive attitude and commitment to guest satisfaction.
  • Experience in bartending, preferably in
  • hospitality environment.
  • Knowledge of wine, spirits, and cocktails.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
