 We're hiring an CLAIMS TECHNICIAN for our big team in Athens 

Howden Hellas, a leading multinational insurance intermediary in Greece, offers you the opportunity to join a dynamic team of experts in risk management, insurance solutions, and client-focused advisory services.

Role Summary:

As part of our team, you will manage motor insurance claims for insured vehicles and third parties, ensuring fair, timely, and accurate resolution. Acting as the main contact for clients, repairers, insurers, and adjusters, you will deliver high service standards and ensure full compliance with policy and legal requirements.

Your Role:

·       Register and report claims to insurance companies.

·       Review policy terms to confirm coverage and liability.

·       Guide clients after accidents, including use of the Friendly Settlement System.

·       Coordinate with repair shops, adjusters, and insurers for inspections, estimates, and repairs.

·       Negotiate and settle claims, ensuring proper assessment of repair costs and related expenses.

·       Track repair progress, confirm completion, and follow up on compensation.

·       Handle disputed or third-party claims and prepare complete documentation and reports.

·       Maintain accurate case files and meet service timelines.

·       Escalate complex or high value claims as needed.

What you bring:

·       BSc in Insurance Science, Economics, or related field.

·       Minimum 4-5 years' experience in motor claims handling or adjustment.

·       Strong knowledge of vehicle repair, parts, and cost structures.

·       Excellent MS Office and English proficiency.

·       Experience in broker environments preferred.

·       Relevant certifications and familiarity with local insurance and traffic laws desirable.

·       Able to multitask and prioritize effectively.

·       High integrity, objectivity, and fairness in decision-making.
