Starting with the role:

Currently we are searching to hire a
Control Room Operator
who will ensure the safe, continuous, and efficient remote monitoring and control of renewable energy assets—including Wind, Solar, Hydro, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)—by overseeing plant operations and dispatch commands from the RES aggregator, thereby maximizing performance and reliability.

During your day you will:

• Monitor and control Wind, Solar, Hydro, and BESS installations remotely using SCADA and other centralized platforms to ensure uninterrupted and efficient operation.
• Categorize event logs and issue work orders and service notifications.
• Supervise the real-time dispatching of control commands issued by the RES aggregator, ensuring compliance and prompt execution.
• Analyze real-time and historical operational data to identify anomalies, equipment faults, and performance trends.
• Log faults and coordinate troubleshooting, collaborating closely with field technicians and maintenance teams.
• Support the commissioning and integration of new renewable and BESS projects into the remote monitoring platform.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), predictive maintenance workflows, and automated control strategies.
• Use weather data and forecasts to assist in operational planning and performance optimization.
• Prepare and distribute regular operational reports and incident summaries.

What you need to stand out:

• Diploma of Electrical studies (preferably Technological Institution)
• 2 years of work experience (experience in a Control Room and/or in Renewable Energy is considered an additional advantage)
• Understanding of Renewable Energy and BESS monitoring systems
• Familiarity with CMMS systems (work orders).
• Fluency in English (verbal and written)
• Willingness to work in rotating shifts as the operation moves toward 24/7 coverage
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
