As an In Room Dining Supervisor, you will oversee the operations and service of our in-room dining team, ensuring that the unique needs and preferences of our guests are met with exceptional efficiency and finesse. You will play a critical role in creating memorable dining experiences that reflect the luxury of Conrad Athens The Ilisian, all while leading a team dedicated to impeccable service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate all facets of the in-room dining operation, ensuring consistently high standards of service, presentation, and guest experience.
  • Lead, train, and mentor the in-room dining team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and personalized guest service.
  • Ensure accurate and timely execution of all in-room dining orders, from order taking to preparation, delivery, and presentation, in alignment with established brand and service standards.
  • Anticipate guest needs by monitoring preferences and feedback, delivering tailored experiences that enhance satisfaction and encourage loyalty.
  • Collaborate closely with the culinary team to guarantee that menu items are executed to the highest quality and presented with attention to detail.
  • Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment, maintaining optimal stock levels while implementing cost-effective practices.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, utilizing effective service recovery techniques to ensure a positive outcome.
  • Conduct regular team briefings and training sessions to drive continuous improvement, uphold service consistency, and address operational challenges proactively.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a supervisory role in in-room dining, restaurant, or hotel food and beverage operations.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards, with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence in handling phone orders.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a high-pressure environment.
  • Fluency in Greek and English is required; additional language skills are advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to guest service.
