Summary:

As Director of Food & Beverage you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving the strategic vision of our F&B operations, reporting directly to the Hotel General Manager.

In this important role, you will ensure quality service and standards, ensure compliance with all governmental regulations concerning health, safety, or other requirements. Supervises a large number of employees in multiple major food and beverage outlets, kitchen and banquet operations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the preparation of the annual departmental operating budget and financial plans. Monitor budget and control expenses with a focus on food, beverage, and labor costs.
  • In partnership with other department heads, identify additional sales opportunities to enhance revenue.
  • Ensure all credit and financial transactions are handled in a secure manner
  • Direct day-to-day staffing requirements, plan training programs for all team members, assign work, and establish performance and development goals
  • Recommend and initiate people management actions in accordance with company rules and policies.
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene and health and safety regulations, including HACCP standards
  • Establish and achieve quality and guest satisfaction goals based on guest insights in order to meet customer expectations
  • Manage local food and beverage marketing programs for the hotel

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in Hotel Management, culinary arts, or related field
  • Similar Food and Beverage management role within a 5-star Luxury hotel
  • Excellent knowledge of Greek & English language
  • Must obtain certifications or permits as required by local governmental agencies
