Job Description
Scorpios is looking for a credible accountant to join the finance team and assist its current structure in multiple areas of responsibility, including bookkeeping, controlling, and reporting.

The successful candidate shall take ownership of this role and will be passionate about teamwork and creating a pleasant corporate culture – our team loves coming to work every day.

Main Responsibilities

  • Records and files properly documents relating to operating expenses, fixed assets, and other transactions
  • Issues revenue receipts and invoices
  • Performs all actions required to ensure General Ledger is up to date daily with all Revenue, Pre-prepayments and Credit Card transactions deriving from house PMS
  • Assists in the implementation and monitoring of control procedures
  • Assists with the preparation of management reports.
  • Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information.
  • Reconciles balances with suppliers.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects implemented by either local or group finance

Job Requirements – Candidate Profile

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Economics.
  • Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation is a significant asset.
  • Working experience in the F&B and/or Accommodation industry will be considered a plus. Working experience an audit environment will be considered a big asset.
  • Particularly very good knowledge of English.
  • Excellent communication skills along with an innate teamwork mentality.
  • Positive attitude and ability to perform proficiently under pressure.
  • Problem solving skills.
