The Company:

MGK Tech is a Systems Integrator specialized in Substation Automation & Commissioning services for HV/MV Electrical Substations, Conventional and Renewable Power Plants, Refineries and Industrial Installations.

Our key activities include:

·       Substation Automation Systems: Design, Procurement, Engineering & Commissioning

·       Commissioning Services: HV/MV Substations' Primary & Secondary Equipment

·       Retrofit Solutions: Upgrade of existing equipment in HV/MV Substations

·       Operation & Maintenance Services

**MGK Tech is looking to expand its team in Athens and is looking for a skilled Accountant
, reporting to the Head of Accounting
**

Responsibilities

·       Register and manage documentation related to income, expenses, receipts, payments, and invoices

·       Record accounting entries and reconcile accounting and trade accounts

·       Monitor bank transactions and client/supplier balances

·       Assist with preparing tax declarations in a timely manner (VAT forms, intra-community transactions, withholding taxes, etc.)

·       Support the accounting team in various administrative tasks as required

·       Monitor submission of timesheets and expense reports and reconcile them with company transactions

·       Daily collaboration and communication with our external accounting and finance consultants

·       Filing and archiving of financial and legal documentation

·       myDATA expertise

Required Qualifications/Qualities:

·       Bachelor's degree in Accounting

·       Solid knowledge of accounting principles and procedures

·       Familiarity with the Greek banking system

·       Strong attention to detail

·       Proficient use of the Greek & English language

·       Willingness to learn and improve within a dynamic work environment

·       Proficient with Microsoft Excel

·       Familiarity with Epsilon Pylon ERP software and Microsoft365 collaboration environment will be considered favorably
