Life Insurance Claims Handler

We are looking for a Life Insurance Claims Handler to handle effectively and timely the full cycle of life insurance claims and provide a high standard of customer service.

Role Responsibilities
As a Life Insurance Claims Handler, you will be responsible for:
- Handle and ensure timely processing of all life insurance claims documents
- Gather, check and maintain records of all data and documentation so as to ensure the settlement of claims
- Determine the validity of life insurance claims, carry out the assessment and settlement of insurance claims arising from policies in force
- Identify fraud potential and make appropriate referrals
- Estimate the final amount of claims and ensure the payment procedure according to contract terms and company policies
- Consult with other third parties to seek guidance and expert evaluation on issues regarding the investigation, assessment and negotiation of the insurance claims
- Answer inquires, deal with complaints and provide customers and external partners with further information / clarifications and/or support relating to claims processing
- Maintain all records and ensure their updating process
- Prepare reports including statistics and data about the frequency and severity of claims
- Suggest process improvements in order to support business in a more customer oriented way
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Degree in Insurance, Finance or similar field
- Previous experience as a claims adjuster or similar role
- Legal Knowledge on claims policies
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel)
- Fluency in English language
- Excellent communication, time management and negotiation skills
- Attention to detail
