We are looking for a 
Head of Legal
 to join our high caliber team.

The Role

We are seeking a dynamic, business-minded, and experienced Legal Counsel to head/lead the legal function at Entersoft-Softone. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for providind legal guidance, manage regulatory and compliance obligations, and oversee all legal matters across the Group's operations. You will act as a trusted advisor to the CEO, the Board of Directors, and senior management on legal and strategic issues, supporting the company's growth, innovation, and international expansion.

Your contribution to the success of the team

• Provide strategic legal advice and guidance to the CEO, executive leadership, and the Board of Directors on all legal matters impacting the organization.
• Lead and manage the Legal Department, overseeing all legal operations, and external legal advisors.
• Ensure the company's compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and corporate governance standards across jurisdictions.
• Oversee all contractual, corporate, regulatory, and employment legal matters, with a particular focus on software licensing, IP protection, data privacy (e.g. GDPR), commercial partnerships, and M&A activities.
• Design and implement legal frameworks, internal policies, and risk management strategies aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements.
• Support the Group's international expansion strategy, including company formation, legal structuring, and cross-border operations.
• Act as the primary legal representative in complex negotiations, transactions, and legal proceedings.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments affecting the software/technology sector and provide proactive recommendations.
• Ensure ethical, transparent, and compliant business practices across the organization.

Your Qualifications & Competencies

• Law degree from a recognized university; LL.M. or equivalent postgraduate legal qualification is strongly preferred.
• Licensed to practice law in Greece (member of the Athens Bar Association or equivalent).
• 10+ years of progressive legal experience, including in-house counsel roles, preferably in the technology or software industry.
• Proven leadership experience, including managing legal teams and working closely with executive stakeholders and boards.
• Expertise in corporate law, commercial transactions, IP and Software licensing, regulatory compliance, intellectual property, data protection, and contract negotiation.
• Deep understanding of the legal challenges in SaaS/software, digital transformation, and innovation environments.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Business-oriented mindset with the ability to balance legal risk with commercial priorities.
• High level of integrity, discretion, and ethical judgment.
• Fluent in Greek and English, both written and verbal.
