About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned
Senior IT Project Manager
with a strong background in
infrastructure projects within the banking or financial services industry
. This role is critical to driving the successful delivery of complex infrastructure initiatives, including data center migrations, network upgrades, cloud integration, cybersecurity enhancements, and end-user technology rollouts.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with hands-on experience managing large-scale, high-impact infrastructure programs in regulated environments. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, external vendors, and senior stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of IT infrastructure projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Oversee infrastructure initiatives such as server/network upgrades, cloud adoption, virtualization, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity enhancements.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure effective communication across technical teams, business units, and executive leadership.
• Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and service providers for project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., PCI DSS, SOX, GDPR) and internal security policies.
• Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies affecting project success.
• Provide regular project status reports and executive dashboards to senior management.
• Promote project management best practices and mentor junior project managers where applicable.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree
  in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
• 5+ years of experience
  in IT project management with a strong focus on
  infrastructure projects
  .
• Demonstrated experience in
  banking or financial services
  environments.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure components (networking, servers, cloud, virtualization, security).
• Solid understanding of regulatory requirements in banking IT environments.
• PM certification, such as:
  PMP
  ,
  PRINCE2
  , etc., is a mandatory requirement.
• Experience with project management tools such as
  MS Project, Jira, Confluence,
  or equivalent.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
