In this existing role you will play a vital role in developing Volvo Car Hellas business, working closely with and report to the Commercial Operations Director to find, define and refine commercial opportunities to support VCH commercial targets.
As
Area and Retail Channel Manager
you will be a real team player, integrated in the business to capture opportunities, with a laser sharp focus on actions and KPIs, as well as business development acumen.
This role requires hands-on experience from the automotive industry and sales, and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, small business environment. This role acts as first line partner to Retailer Network and has the responsibility of creating a win-win bridge between Retailers and NSC. This role requires frequent and regular Network visits, with the objective to work closely and together with Retailers to ensure all targets are reached in a timely, sustainable and qualitative manner.
Main Tasks
· Ensure NSC strategies alignment and implementation within each Retailer/site
· Drive performance with each Retailer/site to secure achievement of all Commercial Sales and Ops, CX, UC, Accs+ monthly/quarterly targets in an organized and quantifiable manner to secure annual targets and bonuses
· Ensure OTIF compliance and on-boarding of all NSC Policies and Circulars, guidelines, campaigns, procedures with each Retailer/site
· Closely track/follow Commercial Development -Sales and Operational (Orders, Regs, Credit, stock…) - with each Retailer, towards target achievement
· Work closely with BMs to address challenges and support the development of their teams to foster a high-performance culture
· Activate and update all internal Communications Channels to increase horizontal and vertical spread of knowledge and alignment vertically across the Network
· Gather insights from all sources (Customers, Sales,…) to distill with Comm. team
· Contribute to Planning /Forecasting process
· Examine new Commercial ideas with Retailers, that are aligned with NSC objectives and goals, to drive further performance and growth
· Develop and steer mid-to-long-term dealer development plans to enable market readiness, exploitation and future sales growth
· Support Network to address Operational and Sales matters (NSC level/importance)
· Advocate and support benchmarking, identification and implementation of best practices to increase Sales and Ops performance
· Assist Fleet, CX, UC and other NSC projects to further support execution
Having the Retail Channel responsibility includes overseeing and improving performance in Retail channels across the entire network – from business development to implementation of activities and actions, ensuring their execution and following up the results, including organizing, supervising, and monitoring the retail sales operations within VCH network.
Responsibilities
· Ensuring all targets are met in the Retail channel
· Implementing NSCs Commercial Plan across each Retailer/Site
· Assisting in the creation of tactical sales measures in the Retail channel
· Analysis of market and competitor conditions and offers
· Regular follow up of lead management, Retail Sales funnel and conversion rates
·
Implementing Retail commercial offers and campaigns
to the retailer network, ensuring Sales personnel understand the offer, has thorough product, offer and USPs knowledge and communicate properly the argumentation to end-customer
· Coordination and action planning with retailers of their Commercial Activities (e.g. test drives, Volvo days, events, Comms, etc.) to support traffic and RO trend
· Collaborate closely with the Commercial Team to optimize relevant areas/processes
· Support along with Marketing the development of POS (digital and physical) materials for Retailers Sales and Commercial Activities
