Key Responsibilities

  • Handle customer inquiries related to biotechnology products and services via phone, email, and chat in German
  • Provide clear and accurate information on product features, applications, and compliance with industry standards
  • Assist customers with troubleshooting and coordinate with technical teams to resolve issues effectively
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and ensure follow-up for customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate closely with sales and product development teams to enhance service delivery
  • Engage in ongoing training to keep up to date with developments in the biotechnology field

Requirements

  • Fluency in German (oral and written) is crucial; knowledge of English is a plus
  • Previous experience in customer service, particularly in biotechnology or related sectors, is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on empathy and understanding
  • Able to simplify complex scientific information for clients
  • Effective problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to customer service
  • Proficient in using customer service tools and CRM software
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends if required
