Position Overview
We are looking for a dynamic leader to oversee strategy and commercial development for the Agricultural Banking sector within our Retail Business Banking Division. In this role, you will lead strategic planning, commercial development, product design, and partnership building with institutions, businesses, and cooperatives in the agricultural sector. You will also oversee performance monitoring to drive market penetration and profitability, supporting the Bank's broader strategy in agriculture and the primary sector with a focus on innovation, sustainability, and green investment financing.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

• Develop strategic and commercial plans to drive growth in Agricultural Banking, including product design and go-to-market strategies tailored to sector needs.
• Design & implement Unique Value Proposition (UVP) and go to market strategy, use customer/market insight and expertise to successfully combine all elements
• Track national and EU funding programs (e.g., NSRF Grants, Development Low, Leader, Agricultural Development Fund) and support clients in accessing and utilizing available financing opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and product teams to deliver specialized banking solutions (e.g. agricultural loans, green financing, leasing, grants management) and ensure effective implementation across channels.
• Monitor market trends, customer data, and performance metrics to identify opportunities, generate actionable insights, and refine commercial strategy for innovation and impact.
• Build strategic partnerships with cooperatives, producer entities, and institutions, while supporting clients in accessing national and EU funding programs.
• Identify training needs, develop comprehensive training materials, and deliver relevant sessions, while contributing to cross-functional initiatives and strategic Retail projects.

You Will Be a Great Candidate If You

• Have a minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience within an established organization in the Retail Banking or Consulting industry at Business Development / Product development, ideally (but not exclusively) in the Banking or Finance sectors. Prior experience and involvement with the Agricultural Banking sector are necessary.
• Hold a Bachelor and ideally postgraduate degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Finance or a quantitative field of study.
• Have proven project management / multitasking skills and strong orientation towards commercialization
• Possess solid understanding of the wider market / competitive context and dynamics, detecting opportunities and inspiring team members to effectively capitalize them, by coaching and providing constant guidance & growth paths
• Are Proficient of the MS Office suite (incl. advanced excel and PowerPoint skills)
• Are fluent in English language
