We are a passionate team of the Smart Farming Technology Group of the Agricultural University of Athens, building AI-powered services and products.
We are hiring an AI expert in AI technologies to join our innovative team
If you have strong experience in machine learning, NLP, and AI model deployment, and are passionate about creating smart, scalable solutions for the delivery of ready-to-apply, domain-specific insights, we would love to hear from you.

As a member of our team, you will be involved in developing an innovative, highly modular system of AI-Agents powered by the latest GenAI technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to research targeting the identification of state-of-the-art AI methods and evaluation of their applicability.
  • Ensure data quality, preprocessing, and annotation where needed.
  • Optimize model performance for scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and ethical AI standards.
  • Document models, workflows, and technical decisions for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve existing AI capabilities.
  • Work closely together with our team's back-end developers to collaboratively design, develop, and deploy data pipelines, AI models and algorithms, as well as ensure the smooth integration of AI components into the platform.
  • Become a core member of our team and an active participant in brainstorming and discussion sessions, contributing to the exchange of ideas and solution identification.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related technical field. Master's Degree in AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, or other related field.
  • Previous
    working experience of more than 2 years
    will be appreciated.
  • Strong proficiency in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and NLP techniques and methods.
  • Hands-on experience with
    AI frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
    .
  • Solid programming
    skills in Python
    .
  • Experience with data pipelines, model training, evaluation, and deployment.
  • Familiarity with ethical AI, data privacy, and responsible AI practices will be a plus.
  • Good problem-solving and solution design skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, collaborative mindset, and a passion for building impactful technology.
