About the role:

The
Accountant
will be responsible for the accounting postings, reconciliations, and reporting for the Warehouse, using the SAP submodules (MIGO/MIRO) and focusing on transaction posting and accurate reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs daily accounting postings and entries within SAP, with emphasis on MIGO/MIRO transactions.
  • Supports the accurate recording and reconciliation of inventory and supplier accounts.
  • Assists in month-end and year-end closings, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
  • Contributes to timely and accurate financial reporting and documentation.
  • Collaborates across Finance, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams to resolve discrepancies and support smooth operations.
  • Prepares and analyzes reports using Excel, with potential use of Power Query / Power BI.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • Up to 3 years of working experience in Accounting.
  • Previous experience in the below areas will be preferred: Big 4 Audit accounting firm, inventory accounting (or similar areas), familiarity with MyData and electronic reporting.
  • Fluency in Greek and English (verbal and written).
  • Proven experience with SAP (MIGO/MIRO modules).
  • IT literate (MS Office and especially Excel with experience in pivot tables, formulas and data analysis). Knowledge of Power query and/or Power BI will be considered a plus.
