Financial Analyst

About the role:

The
Financial Analyst
will be responsible for financial reporting, variance analysis, and cost control to support strategic decision-making. The role includes financial planning, performance monitoring, and IFRS compliance and contributes to the financial efficiency of the company.

Responsibilities:

• Prepares and delivers the monthly reporting package (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, KPIs).
• Performs variance analysis (budget vs actual, forecast vs actual) and provides insights on business performance.
• Supports the forecasting process in close collaboration with management.
• Ensures reporting compliance with IFRS standards, in coordination with accounting teams.
• Develops financial models and dashboards to support decision-making.
• Works closely with business units to provide financial insights and controlling support.
• Contributes to process improvement and optimization of reporting flows.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field. Master's degree in Finance or professional qualification (ACCA, CFA, CIMA) will be considered an asset.
• 5 - 7 years of working experience in Financial Analysis, Controlling or Audit.
• Previous experience in the below areas will be preferred: Big 4, multinational environment, budgeting, forecasting and business partnering.
• Proven experience with SAP.
• Fluency in Greek and English (verbal and written).
• IT literate (MS Office and especially Excel). Knowledge of data visualization tools will be considered a plus.
