General Manager

Job Summary

The General Manager is responsible for implementing high standards of life-safety, loss prevention, unit owner identity protection, and privacy. This role oversees the management of luxury residential facilities, including physical plant operations, financial performance, and service excellence. The General Manager serves as liaison to Association shared service Directors and ensures property-wide strategies are in place to deliver superior value, quality, and owner satisfaction while enhancing investment value. We are looking for someone who is up and coming with deputy GM or operational background in 5* hospitality.

Responsibilities

·      Develops operational strategies aligned with the brand's business strategy.

·      Reviews Owner engagement surveys and implements action plans for improvement.

·      Adheres to the four pillars of Operational Excellence: owner and employee engagement, financial excellence, and property management.

·      Conducts walk-throughs with Engineering and Housekeeping to ensure upkeep and preventative maintenance.

·      Communicates consistent departmental goals to drive results.

·      Maintains high standards for safety, security, and privacy protection.

·      Ensures fair and equitable treatment of employees.

·      Recognizes team contributions and celebrates successes.

·      Implements training programs to reinforce service excellence.

·      Models desired service behaviors in all interactions with owners, guests, and employees.

·      Attends Board and owner meetings, presenting monthly reports and financial statements.

·      Builds strong relationships with owners, Board of Directors, and community leaders.

·      Promotes synergy through education, communication, and innovation.

·      Prepares and manages operations within the annual budget.

·      Provides timely financial reporting and projections to the Board.

·      Guides the Board on governance compliance and property management requirements.

·      Creates an atmosphere in common areas that meets or exceeds owner expectations.

·      Champions brand service vision and ensures alignment among leadership teams.

·      Regularly interfaces with owners, vendors, and guests to gather feedback on service quality.

·      Handles owner complaints promptly, ensuring satisfaction.

·      Facilitates creative solutions to improve owner and guest satisfaction.

·      Conducts regular communication through staff meetings and briefings.

·      Sets goals and holds staff accountable through performance reviews.

·      Champions change and implements brand initiatives effectively.

Education & Qualifications

· year degree in Business Administration, Hotel/Property Management, or related field; 6 years' relevant experience. Management license for Condominiums, as applicable.

·      OR 4-year degree in Business Administration, Hotel/Property Management, or related field; 4 years' relevant experience. Management license for Condominiums, as applicable.

· years' senior management experience in a Five Star hotel.

·      Demonstrated progressive career growth and exceptional performance.

·      Previous Association management experience.

Note:
This is a permanent role not seasonal, and for people coming from Greece a 50% income tax reduction is introduced.
