As a Country Leader for Adama Greece (reporting to Head of Commercial Unit), your primary accountability is to drive sustainable revenue growth, ensure adequate market footprint and maximize net profitability and cash flow managing the country P&L within an agreed budget KPI framework.

Developing, agreeing, and implementing commercial excellence plans for the country. Leading, implementing and executing short and long term 5 year) plans. plan and ensuring best use of resources to ensure a successful execution.

Managing all commercial and marketing operations, executing comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to establish the organization's competitive position.

Constantly improving customer satisfaction while driving an efficient commercial organisation.

Establishing and nurturing client relationships and ensure that sales and marketing customer efforts are closely aligned to achieve business objectives. Driving differentiated offers translated into clear and impactful commercial policies.

Manage and develop team to outperform the market while creating a winning spirit and environment.

Activating the operational model based on shared resources to drive operational efficiencies.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities:

  • Manage P&L including the delivery of top line and bottom-line results; driving the company to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, cash flow and business goals and objectives.
  • Responsible for short- and long-term working plans.
  • Develop and implement integrated sales and marketing strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Responsibility for 5 direct reports, 3 matrix reports, ~20 indirect reports.

Essential Skills/Qualifications:

  • Intimate knowledge of the crop protection/agrichemical marketplace, key dynamics, associated policies, and the competitive landscape.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Agronomist, Science, or related field.
  • MBA/master's degree a plus.
  • Proven leadership experience in the Chemical Agriculture Industry with responsibility for sales/marketing.
  • Fluency (written and spoken) in Greek and English.
  • Ability to travel 50% domestic / 15% international with occasional overnight and weekend commitments.
