Responsibilities:

  • Undertakes the processing of complex and specialized accounting issues in the context of the preparation of financial statements based on International Financial Reporting Standards
  • Updates the Group's accounting policies and principles, by monitoring the new standards, amendments and interpretations adopted by the European Union
  • Prepares interim and annual financial statements of the Company and the Group, ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards
  • Handles the accounting of corporate transformations
  • Coordinates and supports the audits carried out by external auditors

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from a University in Accounting or Economics
  • Master's degree in Accounting will be considered an additional qualification
  • At least five (5) years of relevant experience in international financial standards in financial services and/or group accounting and/or multinational and/or auditing companies
  • Experience in the Energy sector will be considered an additional qualification
  • Professional qualification from Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) or Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Greece (IESOEL)
  • License of Class A' Accountant of Economic Chamber of Greece will be considered an additional qualification
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Internet
