We are looking for a Senior Procurement Specialist – Food Category to join our Procurement & Supply Chain team at FOOD PLUS (franchisee of KFC and Taco Bell in Greece).

This is a role with high visibility, responsibility, and the opportunity to own and grow the food sourcing category across both brands.

The Senior Procurement Specialist – Food Category will be responsible for managing food suppliers, securing the best cost-value balance, ensuring product availability, monitoring market trends, participating in NPD processes, and leading business reviews with key partners. The role reports directly to the Procurement & Supply Chain Director.

EY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND OWNERSHIP

  • Manage supplier relationships, commercial negotiations, and contracts
  • Conduct regular business reviews with strategic vendors
  • Negotiate terms with suppliers such as price, quality of goods, deadlines, expectations
  • Participate in product sourcing, benchmarking, and NPD evaluation with Commercial and Marketing teams
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues and concerns
  • Conduct market research and identify risk areas and cost-saving opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with internal standards and protocols
  • Forecast and track product needs, ensuring continuous availability
  • Support strategic sourcing initiatives and risk mitigation plans
  • Analyze demand and industry trends to inform long-term sourcing strategy
  • Support strategic sourcing projects and risk mitigation efforts.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Bachelor's or master's Degree in in Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.
  • 5+ years of experience in a relevant position, preferably in the food or hospitality industry.
  • Excellent Computer knowledge.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English.
  • Strong communication skills and the desire to build relationships with cross-functional teams and vendors.
  • ERP experience would be advantageous.
  • Fulfilled military obligations (for male candidates)
