Senior SEO Specialist
to join our team.

Role Description:

As a
Senior SEO Specialist
, you'll take ownership of client campaigns, execute advanced SEO strategies, and contribute your expertise to elevate the overall knowledge level of the team.

This is a hands-on role. You'll be directly implementing and guiding SEO campaigns, while also serving as a knowledge resource for less experienced team members. Your insights will help shape strategy, but your work will remain rooted in execution and delivery.

Important note: At Atropos Digital, we work primarily with companies in the US & Canada. This is why
excellent
English proficiency is required for us to work together.

Responsibilities:

• Lead SEO audits and deliver in-depth, actionable strategies for clients.
• Execute advanced on-page, technical, and off-page SEO strategies.
• Own client campaigns end-to-end, ensuring consistent performance improvements.
• Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to inform strategy.
• Implement structured data, technical fixes, and advanced on-site optimizations.
• Develop and oversee link-building campaigns, including outreach and content partnerships.
• Track, analyze, and report on SEO performance using tools like GA4 & Looker Studio.
• Provide guidance and best practices to less experienced SEO team members.
• Stay ahead of algorithm updates and industry changes, adapting strategies accordingly.

Qualifications:

• Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal).
• 3–5+ years of proven SEO experience (agency experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge across all SEO pillars: technical, on-page, off-page, and content.
• Advanced proficiency with SEO tools (e.g., Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, etc.).
• Solid understanding of GA4 and analytics-driven SEO decision-making.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and execute SEO strategies that drive measurable growth.
• Extensive knowledge & skill in Excel and/or Google Sheets

• Hands-on experience with CMSs such as WordPress and Webflow.
• Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
• Super attention to detail.
• An appetite for learning.
• Exceptional communication skills, a team player attitude, and the ability to function well within a team.

Optional Skills (a plus, but not required):

• Familiarity with project management tools (Asana, Jira, Trello).
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, or JavaScript, as these are needed for implementing SEO-related optimizations on clients' websites.
• Analytics and reporting knowledge for setting up events & conversions within GA4 and reports within Looker Studio.
• Understanding of programmatic SEO.
