IoT/Hardware Engineer

Job Description:

• Design schematics and PCBs for IoT related projects
• Design and build firmware for ARM based microcontrollers
• Deploy and manage IoT devices
• Testing and calibration
• Technical report writing
• Install IoT devices
• Perform research to evaluate and adopt new technologies and platforms to maximize development efficiency

Qualifications:

• University degree in Computer engineering, Automation engineering, Electronics or equivalent
• At least 2 years of embedded C/C++ programming experience
• Good knowledge of electronics and embedded systems communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, etc)
• Experience with IoT communication protocols (LoRaWAN, WiFi, MQTT, etc)
• Experience with PCB design with tools like Altium, KiCAD, etc
• Experience in development for Arduino and Raspberry Pi
• Basic knowledge of Linux Operating Systems
• Familiarity with lab equipment
• Excellent command of Greek and English Language
• Driving license

Nice-to-have skills:

• Familiarity with cloud platforms: Azure, Google cloud, etc
• Familiarity with LoRaWAN NS like TTN, Chirpstack, etc
• Familiarity with Node-Red
• Experience with software versioning systems such as: Git
• Hands on experience with PCB soldering
• Worked with ST Microcontrollers
• Electrical design
• Familiarity with Solar Panel Systems
