Dry bulk shipping company, based in Alimos, seeks to employ Post fixing – Operations Assistant

Join our team and play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient voyage execution. You'll be responsible for monitoring vessel movements, coordinating with ship masters, agents, and charterers, and ensuring timely cargo operations. Your duties will include negotiating Disbursement Accounts, managing voyage documentation, and ensuring compliance with charter party terms and maritime regulations. You'll also act as the main point of contact for stakeholders post-fixture, resolving operational issues and maintaining accurate records.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Shipping, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in post-fixture operations
  • Strong knowledge of charter party agreements and maritime operations
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in maritime software (e.g., Benefit) and MS Office
  • Ability to manage multiple voyages under pressure
