Sous Chef

As a
Sous Chef
, you will play a key role in the heart of our culinary operations — overseeing daily kitchen activities, ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation, and inspiring excellence within your team. Your creativity, leadership, and technical expertise will be instrumental in shaping innovative menus that reflect our commitment to
luxury, authenticity, and exceptional dining experiences
.

Responsibilities

Culinary Leadership:
Support the Executive Chef in crafting menus

Quality & Presentation:
Supervise and guide kitchen staff to ensure every dish meets the highest standards of taste, consistency, and presentation

Operational Excellence:
Oversee daily kitchen operations, maintaining smooth workflows and upholding brand standards of service and efficiency

Inventory & Cost Control:
Monitor stock levels, manage supply orders, and optimize food costs without compromising quality

Training & Mentorship:
Develop, coach, and inspire the culinary team, promoting best practices in food preparation, hygiene, and safety

Leadership in Absence:
Take charge of kitchen operations during the Executive Chef's absence, ensuring seamless service continuity

Event Collaboration:
Assist in planning and executing culinary productions for hotel events, banquets, and special occasions

Requirements

·       Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Sous Chef position or similar role in a luxury hotel environment

·       Culinary Arts Degree

·       Established leadership skills with the ability to motivate and unite a diverse culinary team

·       Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, thriving under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

·       Excellent verbal communication skills, fluent in Greek and English, with strong interpersonal and team-building qualities
