Zuma is a contemporary Japanese restaurant collection, inspired by the dynamic Izakaya dining style. This role will be based in Zuma Mykonos, a first-of-its-kind lifestyle destination. Featuring a sleek infinity-pool, lounge, restaurant and resident DJs, our vibrant seasonal location is a dynamic lifestyle concept that captures the essence of contemporary dining and entertainment making it the dining destination in Mykonos.
Main Duties
Your key responsibilities will include:
Demonstrate versatility and expertise across all kitchen sections, ensuring efficient use of team members and smooth transitions between areas
Ensure every section is fully prepared for each meal period, maintaining Zuma's signature flair, creativity, and commitment to quality
Monitor the quality of dishes during preparation and presentation, ensuring consistency and excellence in every plate
Uphold health and safety regulations, ensuring proper food storage, handling, and cleanliness across the kitchen
Oversee food ordering, receiving, and inventory control to maintain optimal stock levels, reduce waste, and manage costs
Train, mentor, and motivate junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and productivity, while working closely with Front of House to ensure seamless service
