Data & AI Systems & Platform Engineer is responsible in working in Projects that relate to Data & AI Platforms Architecture Design, Platforms deployment/configuration & Installation, Continues support and maintenance, in Cloud, On premise or Hybrid environments.

  • Design system architecture for the deployment of Data & AI Platforms, either on premise, Cloud or Hybrid.
  • Install / Configure / Deploy the Platforms.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance (upgrades, patches/fixes, configuration changes etc.).
  • Work in cooperation with the Project Manager and implementation teams, to outline related work requirements, pre-requisites, tasks and activities.
  • Understanding client technical needs, working with the client to demonstrate how the proposed architecture and deployment will support client's vision.
  • Ιndentifying areas of Data & AI Platforms improvement and recommending enhancements / upgrades / new configurations that detail pros, cons and risks.
  • Working with client for troubleshooting needs and issues may appear in the application operations.
  • Completing, developing and improving required documentation such as solution design, platform installation and platform configuration.

Requirements

  • BSc in Information Technology or related field of Computer Science (MSc will be considered a plus).
  • Previous experience in a DevOps, Systems and Platforms Engineering, project based experience, on the areas described in the above Role.
  • Work experience with one or more on the areas and solutions: Operating systems Windows and Linux deployment, configuration & administrations, Large scale multi-tier applications and platforms installation and configuration, on Cloud deployments and good understanding of micro-services and Kubernetes (preferably Azure and Amazon), experience and understanding of Soap/Rest API integrations, experience and understanding of real time streaming data integrations like Kafka, familiar with RDBMS deployment like SQL Server, PostGreSQL, familiar with open source deployment like Python or Java etc.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and writing skills both in Greek and English.
  • Being able to work individually or as a member of a larger team.
  • Attention to detail, sense of accountability, ownership, self motivation and innovative thinking.
  • 3-5+ years on relevant experience.
