Optimal, on behalf of its client, a well-established firm in the marine industry, is looking for a Marine Bunkers & Lubricants Consultant, based in Athens.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary consultant for bunker and lubricant requests, managing client needs in both the Greek and international markets
  • Identify and engage new customers, build a robust portfolio and expand company's global footprint
  • Lead negotiations and perform detailed analyses of customer accounts, managing risk and ensuring mutually successful outcomes
  • Immerse yourself in the fast-paced world of marine trade, developing deep industry knowledge and becoming a trusted advisor to your clients

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Maritime Studies or Business Administration, or a proven track record of success in a sales role
  • Customer-centric and business-driven mindset, fueled by a genuine enthusiasm for sales
  • Exceptional negotiating and sharp analytical skills
  • Collaborative spirit and a commitment to teamwork
  • Fluency in English language
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Previous experience in the marine bunkers/lubricants industry is considered a strong advantage
