Job Description

As a PMS Superintendent Engineer, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day oversight of the Preventive Maintenance System, its proper implementation, its continuous improvement and the integration of new vessel acquisitions and newbuildings. You will be given software administration rights to:

  • Configure Company's Preventive Maintenance System in conjunction with ships' design/ equipment.
  • Create new equipment trees and fleet equipment register for newly delivered vessels.
  • Revise existing PMS tasks with respect to job scope and periodicity, when needed.
  • Populate data and makers manuals' instructions into the system.
  • Contribute in crew's training and familiarization with company's ERP tools.

As a member of the Technical Team you will report to our Head of Shipmanagement Systems and you will work closely with the Superintendent Engineers of our team, as well as other external stakeholders related to your work.

Education, Abilities & Skills

  • Minimum 2 years working experience in a similar position, preferably with tanker ships.
  • University Degree in Engineering or Naval Architecture.
  • Excellent English and communication skills.
  • Good understanding and experience with a major PMS ERP, ideally DNV Shipmanager or similar.
