Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Manager at Margi Marine S.A. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing growth strategies, fostering relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and negotiating contracts. The role will involve collaborating with internal teams to enhance service offerings and maximize client satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in the maritime or shipping industry
  • Business development, sales, and marketing skills
  • Ability to analyze market trends and customer needs
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Fluency in multiple languages is a plus

Job description

Position:
Customer Support Specialist

Location: Greece - Shipping Company based in Piraeus

Type: Permanent

Job Scope:

· To work closely with & report to CEO in a team approach to serve the customers / shipowners (more than 700 existing).

· To provide technical assistance and advise, follow-up of quotations, negotiations, closing orders and customer liaison

· Perform sales activities to business clients in Greece and Cyprus esp client's Technical & Purchasing dept.

· Maintain relationship with existing clients and seek for new business opportunity in order to expand market share within the industry

· Maintain good customer business relationship

· Coordinate with regional partners

Role Requirements:

  • Shipping degree ( Obligatory )
  • Extensive marine industry experience at least 5 to 7 years.
  • Commercial experience (sales/marketing) necessary
  • Ability to undertake extensive travel
  • Greek – English Language
  • Technical & operational knowledge of ships is necessary
