Cerved Property Services (CPS) is part of Cerved Group and one of the largest real estate companies in Greece and SE Europe.

Consists of an experienced and certified team aiming to deliver exemplary services to all spectrum of clients in specialized scopes of practice grouped in 5 basic pillars Valuations, Asset Management, Energy & Property Facilities Management, Market Research & Analytic and Technical Projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using NodeJS and Express.
  • Work with MongoDB for data storage and retrieval, ensuring high performance and reliability.
  • Develop secure methods and implement security best practices for data protection and system integrity.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and manage data flows between front-end and back-end systems.
  • Optimize application performance and manage cloud infrastructure, preferably in AWS.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to maintain high code quality.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to ensure seamless integration.

Qualifications

  • Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • Experience At least 1 year of professional experience as a Backend Developer.
  • Technical Skills the role will be mainly focused on Java Spring Boot. In addition, proficiency in NodeJS, Express, MongoDB, and secure API development is needed.
  • Security Focus Experience in developing secure methods and understanding of best practices in data security.
  • Preferred Skills Knowledge of AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda) and cloud architecture is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with RESTful API design and microservice architecture.
  • Strong understanding of version control (Git) and Agile development processes.
