Role:
We are seeking a Senior Back-End Developer with strong expertise in .NET technologies and GitHub-based development workflows. The successful candidate will contribute to the migration of existing systems from Delphi to .NET 8, while also designing and developing scalable, secure, and high-performance backend banking and financial systems. You will work in a collaborative Agile environment, applying SOLID principles, Clean Architecture, and modern engineering practices to deliver high-quality, maintainable solutions tailored for the financial sector.

Main responsibilities

• Participate in requirements analysis and translate business needs into technical solutions
• Contribute to the migration of Delphi-based systems into .NET 8
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code using C# and .NET 8
• Apply SOLID principles, OOP, and design patterns to ensure extensibility and maintainability
• Develop and optimize REST APIs and microservices
• Implement security standards and follow Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC) practices
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, and product managers to design system architecture
• Automate builds, testing, and deployments using GitHub Actions (CI/CD pipelines)
• Conduct code reviews, refactor code, and improve system performance
• Document architecture and implementation details throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Back-End Developer with focus on .NET 8
• Strong knowledge of C#, OOP, SOLID principles, and Clean Architecture
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
• Familiarity with design patterns (e.g., MVC, Repository, Dependency Injection)
• Experience with GitHub ecosystem (repositories, pull requests, code reviews, Actions CI/CD)
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps culture
• Understanding of secure coding practices and compliance with industry standards (e.g., OWASP, PCI-DSS)
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)
• BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

The ideal candidate should have:

• 7+ years of experience in back-end development
• 4+ years of professional experience with .NET and C#
• Strong grasp of front-end basics (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to collaborate with full-stack teams
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit, MSTest) and mocking libraries
• Solid knowledge of database systems (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL) and ORM tools (e.g., Entity Framework, Dapper)
• Ability to design and implement scalable enterprise solutions for the banking and financial sector
