Role Purpose:

The role of the Cashier within the Central Accounting Department is to ensure the accurate
and efficient management of daily cash and banking transactions, supporting the company's
short-term liquidity and funding needs. This role plays a key part in monitoring treasury
positions, fulfilling financial obligations, and ensuring smooth and transparent cash flow
operations. The position contributes directly to forecasting liquidity needs and optimizing
short-term financial planning.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Record and process all cash transactions in the system accurately and timely.
  • Record and reconcile all bank transactions.
  • Prepare and submit daily and periodic treasury reports (cash position).
  • Define and maintain the daily and weekly payment list.
  • Submit payments in the system for approval and processing.
  • Monitor the daily cash position across all bank accounts.
  • Manage short-term cash surpluses or deficits effectively.
  • Follow up on financing agreements for cash requirements.
  • Assist in the monthly close process (cash-related tasks and reconciliations).
  • Prepare and reconcile monthly treasury reports and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure timely settlement of the company's obligations towards suppliers, creditors,
    customers, and public authorities.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with management on cash-related
    matters.

Skills/Experience required:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of previous experience in a Treasury, Cash Management, or Finance Assistant role will be considered an asset.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel); experience in ERP systems is a
    plus.
  • Good command of English will be considered a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and work under deadlines.
  • Strong numerical and analytical thinking.
  • Team player with effective communication skills.
