Senior Chartering Manager
to join their leadership team. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the company's commercial success on the global stage.

The Role

As Senior Chartering Manager, you will lead and drive the commercial chartering function, overseeing high-value fixtures and ensuring optimal fleet deployment. You will play a key role in contract negotiation, relationship management, and strategic decision-making, while also mentoring and guiding a team of brokers. In addition, you will contribute to risk management strategies through the use of FFAs, helping to safeguard and enhance commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and execute chartering activities across larger dry bulk assets
  • Negotiate and finalise voyage and time charter contracts at senior level
  • Provide commercial insight and strategic advice on market positioning and opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key charterers, brokers, and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with operations, technical, legal, and bunkering departments to ensure seamless fixture execution
  • Apply FFA trading knowledge to support risk management and enhance profitability

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in dry bulk chartering, with a strong focus on larger assets
  • Established commercial network and proven record of successful chartering deals
  • FFA trading experience highly advantageous
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Ability to travel internationally as required
  • Fluency in Greek would be a distinct advantage
