We are growing and thus looking for an ambitious
Tech Lead – Backend Engineering (Marine ERP)
to guide our backend team in building scalable, secure, and high-performance services for our ERP platform. You will take ownership of backend architecture and technical direction while mentoring engineers and collaborating with product, frontend, DevOps, and other Tech Leads across disciplines.

Our tech stack includes .NET (C#) on the backend, Angular on the frontend, MSSQL as our primary database, and modern cloud-native infrastructure leveraging Azure, Kubernetes, and Docker.

Main Duties:

  • Collaborates with the Lead Backend Engineer to define and evolve the backend architecture for our ERP platform, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability
  • Leads and mentors a team of backend engineers, fostering best practices, knowledge sharing, and growth
  • Collaborates closely with other Tech Leads (Frontend, DevOps, QA, Cloud) to align cross-functional architecture and ensure consistency across the platform
  • Develops and maintains backend services using .NET (.NET 8)
  • Ensures robust and efficient database design and query performance in MSSQL
  • Collaborates with product managers and stakeholders to align technical direction with business goals
  • Drives code quality, testing standards, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps integration
  • Oversees deployments in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and containerized environments with Docker
  • Evaluates and introduces new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance the platform.

Required Skills:

  • 7+ years of professional backend development experience, with at least 2+ years in a lead/architect role
  • Expertise in .NET (C#) and MSSQL (schema design, performance tuning, stored procedures)
  • Strong experience with cloud-native environments (Azure, Kubernetes, Docker)
  • Proven ability to design and scale enterprise-grade systems
  • Solid understanding of RESTful API design, microservices, and distributed architectures
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills; ability to guide and inspire engineers
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially when working with other Tech Leads.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with Event-Driven Architectures (Azure Service Bus, Kafka)
  • Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and enterprise patterns
  • Background in ERP, supply chain, logistics, or the maritime industry.
