Senior Data Architect Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Architect to lead the implementation of complex public sector projects. This is a key role that requires strong technical expertise and leadership skills.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of public sector regulations and technical documentation, combined with strong skills in designing robust and scalable database architectures.

  • Design the overall architecture of a complex public-sector information system.
  • Analyze functional requirements derived from legal and regulatory texts and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Model robust, scalable, and normalized relational database schemas, with a preference for PostgreSQL.
  • Collaborate with analysts to understand institutional logic and business rules.
  • Ensure technical consistency across development teams and system components.
  • Contribute to technical documentation submitted to public authorities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in solution architecture and relational database design.
  • Strong command of relational data modeling principles (normalization, indexing, integrity constraints).
  • Experience with PostgreSQL and/or Oracle in production environments.
  • Proven ability to interpret regulatory frameworks and public-sector workflows into database structures and application logic.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, modular architecture, and secure software design.
