Piraeus, Attica, Greece Antipollution SA Full time €35,000 - €60,000 per year

Antipollution, a member of the Vasileiadis Group of Companies (V Group), is a leading provider of environmental and waste-management solutions across the Eastern Mediterranean, Egypt and the Balkans. Operating in six key business pillars—including Port Reception Facilities, Emergency Response Services, Decontamination Services, Renewable Energy, Alternative Fuel Production from Waste, and Technology—we are committed to sustainability, innovation and operational excellence.

As part of our digital-transformation agenda, we are looking for a hands-on
Automation & Integration Engineer
to join the Technology & Innovation Department. You will design, build and operate low-code/no-code automations and enterprise-grade integrations—streamlining business processes, connecting systems and data sources, and enabling secure, scalable, and cost-efficient operations in line with relevant industry best practices and compliance standards.

Role Overview:

You will act as the technical owner of workflow automation and system-to-system integrations—analyzing requirements, architecting solutions, implementing robust flows and continuously improving reliability, performance and cost. The role is 100 % hands-on: expect to create and troubleshoot Power Automate and n8n workflows yourself while collaborating closely with peers in cloud, data, IoT and business-process teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Workflow Automation
     – Design, develop and optimize end-to-end automations in Power Automate (Cloud & Desktop) and n8n that remove manual effort, shorten cycle times and improve quality.
  • Integration Architecture
     – Define reusable patterns for connecting SaaS, on-prem systems, IoT devices and databases using REST, GraphQL, webhooks and message queues.
  • API & Connector Development
     – Build custom connectors and secure APIs to extend platform capabilities and enable real-time data exchange.
  • Data Transformation
     – Implement lightweight ETL steps inside flows and hand off larger workloads to data-engineering pipelines when needed.
  • Governance & Security
    – Apply governance, security, and compliance practices (DLP, role-based access, encryption) according to industry standard.
  • CI/CD & Infrastructure-as-Code
     – Version flows in Git, package with Power Platform CLI or n8n export scripts, and automate deployments via Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions using Terraform/Bicep where appropriate.
  • Monitoring & Incident Response
     – Configure alerts and dashboards with Azure Monitor, Application Insights or Prometheus/Grafana; perform root-cause analysis and preventive fixes.
  • Cost Optimization
     – Track connector usage, run frequency and capacity units; refactor flows to minimize consumption.
  • Documentation & Enablement
     – Produce architecture diagrams, runbooks and how-to guides; coach colleagues on low-code best practices to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Innovation & Proof-of-Concepts
     – Evaluate emerging platform features (e.g., Power Automate Process Mining, Copilot, new n8n nodes) and lead targeted PoCs that deliver measurable value.

Requirements:

Professional Experience

  • 3 + years of hands-on work in workflow automation, system integration or software engineering.
  • Demonstrable delivery of production solutions in Microsoft Power Automate and/or n8n.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and core business processes is highly desirable.

Academic Background & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Certifications such as Microsoft Power Platform Developer certification or relevant automation and integration certifications are highly desirable.

Languages & Technical Capabilities

  • Fluent in Greek and English (written and spoken).
  • Deep expertise with Power Automate (Cloud & Desktop), environments, connectors and licensing.
  • Comfortable styling apps with coherent color palettes, typography, spacing and reusable components, producing clean, intuitive screens without requiring a dedicated UX/UI designer is highly desirable.
  • Solid experience configuring and scaling n8n (self-hosted or ).
  • Proficiency with REST/GraphQL APIs, webhooks, JSON, OAuth 2.0 and common SaaS services (Microsoft 365, Dynamics, SharePoint, Teams, etc.).
  • Scripting/programming fundamentals (JavaScript/TypeScript, Python) to extend connectors or create custom n8n nodes.
  • Familiarity with Git, Power Platform CLI, Docker, Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Bicep).
  • Understanding of networking, authentication, encryption and governance best practices.

Skills:

  • Analytical, detail-oriented problem-solver with a passion for automating away waste.
  • Clear communicator (Greek & English) able to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving environment and manages multiple priorities independently.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive remuneration package.
  • Private Medical Insurance.
  • Professional growth and continuous learning opportunities.
  • Supportive and collaborative working environment.

Please note, only candidates meeting the outlined requirements will be contacted for interviews. All applications will be treated with strict confidentiality.
