Younet Digital Life is seeking a highly skilled and versatile
Senior Web Developer
to lead the development of high-quality websites, with a strong emphasis on WordPress as well as custom web solutions. You'll be a key member of our team, building everything from advanced WordPress sites and WooCommerce integrations to fully custom web applications and plugins.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and optimization of advanced WordPress sites as well as custom websites tailored to client needs.
  • Architect, develop, and maintain custom WordPress plugins, utilizing hooks and filters to extend functionality.
  • Integrate third-party APIs, ERP connectors, and complex backend systems (with and without WooCommerce).
  • Build responsive, visually appealing websites using modern page builders (Elementor, Breakdance, Oxygen) and custom code when required.
  • Develop custom website features and functionalities beyond standard WordPress capabilities.
  • Manage and optimize hosting environments (cPanel, DirectAdmin, Plesk) and handle server/database administration.
  • Collaborate closely with design, marketing, and content teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
  • Oversee project deployment, staging environments, and implement DevOps best practices for web projects.
  • Stay up-to-date with WordPress, PHP, and general web development trends, tools, and best practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in web development with a strong focus on WordPress.
  • Proven experience in custom website design and development, including both theme and plugin creation.
  • Deep knowledge of WooCommerce, hooks, filters, and WordPress functions.
  • Advanced proficiency with PHP, MySQL, and web server/database management.
  • Experience with multiple page builders (Elementor, Breakdance, Oxygen, etc) and custom layouts.
  • Ability to integrate and manage APIs, including ERP and external systems.
  • Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and deployment best practices.
  • Comfortable with hosting panels (cPanel, DirectAdmin, Plesk) and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills in Greek and English.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in JavaScript frameworks like Node , React, Next, Express etc.
  • Familiarity with analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Looker Studio).
  • Knowledge of cloud hosting solutions and advanced performance optimization.
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager.
