. is currently looking to recruit a
Supply Operator
who will be responsible to coordinate and monitor the supply operations of assigned vessels.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare and register requisitions in the relevant system, and upon confirmation, send them to suppliers to receive the respective offers.
  • Evaluate submitted offers and negotiate terms and conditions to optimize both cost and quality.
  • Prepare all necessary documentation for the transportation of goods to the vessels, including invoices/customs, delivery notes, packing lists and other relevant documents, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Ensure all items are delivered to the respective vessels on time and evaluate the quality of services provided by suppliers to ensure compliance with agreed terms and conditions, according to TMS Dry standards.
  • Monitor on-board stock levels and plan supplies efficiently.
  • Budget monitoring through comparison of actual costs against budget.
  • Maintain, update and verify purchase orders and relevant vessel documentation.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • University degree in any discipline; a background in Shipping is a plus but not required
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position
  • IT literate, especially with MS Office
  • Working experience with Danaos Purchasing
  • Proficient in English, orally and in writing
  • High sense of responsibility and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
