Procurement junior buyer/buyer

VIEXAL S.A. part of the VIOHALCO group of companies and responsible for Corporate Procurement Services to CENERGY HOLDINGS -SIDENOR GROUP-STEELMET S.A. is actively seeking for a Procurement category buyer or junior buyer responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and coordinating the delivery of materials, supplies, and services to meet operational needs. This role involves supplier evaluation, negotiation of contracts and pricing, and ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement in compliance with company policies and quality standards.

• Assist in sourcing and purchasing goods and services from suppliers to support organizational needs.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors to achieve cost savings and value for the company.
• Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and supplier information.
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand their purchasing requirements and timelines.
• Evaluate supplier performance and provide feedback to enhance supply chain efficiency.

• University degree in Engineering (preferably), Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

• Proven experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in a similar role.

• Proficiency in English.

• Familiar with procurement software. SAP is a must. Ariba desirable.

• Excel and data analysis. Contract management.

• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build effective supplier relationships.

• Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, is essential
• Understanding of contract law, import/export regulations, and industry compliance standards
