For one of the leading companies in Greece in the production and trading of a full range of synthetic and conventional lubricants, greases and special products.

Role based in Ritsona.
Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and manage all production activities at the Ritsona plant, ensuring the fulfillment of company goals and objectives
  • Implement and maintain processes to maximize productivity and efficiency while minimizing costs
  • Oversee quality control processes to guarantee products meet regulatory and safety requirements
  • Lead and develop plant personnel through effective training, coaching, and performance management
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, fostering a culture of safety within the plant
  • Collaborate with other departments, including supply chain, sales, and quality assurance, to ensure smooth operations and address any production issues
  • Monitor key performance indicators and develop improvement strategies to enhance overall operational performance
  • Prepare and manage plant budgets, providing financial oversight to ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing lean manufacturing principles and technological advancements

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in plant management or a similar role within the manufacturing sector
  • Prior experience in a chemical manufacturing plant is considered essential
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams in a manufacturing environment
  • Solid understanding of quality, safety, and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with strong analytical skills
  • Fluent in Greek and English, with exceptional communication capabilities
