As a Senior Chef de Partie at Zuma, every dish is crafted with passion and precision, and you'll play a key role in ensuring our kitchen operates at the highest standards. With your leadership and expertise, you'll inspire and guide the team, helping create the extraordinary dining experiences that define Zuma.

Zuma is a contemporary Japanese restaurant collection, inspired by the dynamic Izakaya dining style. This role will be based in Zuma Mykonos, a first-of-its-kind lifestyle destination. Featuring a sleek infinity-pool, lounge, restaurant and resident DJs, our vibrant seasonal location is a dynamic lifestyle concept that captures the essence of contemporary dining and entertainment making it the dining destination in Mykonos.

Main Duties

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintain sufficient mise en place levels to ensure smooth and efficient food flow during service, with a focus on quality, consistency, and presentation

  • Inspect incoming goods for quality, oversee proper storage, and work to minimize waste while maintaining standards

  • Conduct daily hygiene checks in storage areas and ensure workstations are clean, organized, and safe

  • Develop a deep understanding of all kitchen sections to manage the team effectively and flexibly as needed

  • Ensure food preparation meets recipes and standards, while supervising and supporting junior chefs to maintain excellence
