Responsibilities:

  • Assist in day-to-day accounting operations, including data entry, invoice processing, reconciling GL accounts, payments, banks and petty cash reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
  • Prepare reports, statements, and schedules as required.
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including managing vendor invoices, processing customer payments, and resolving any related inquiries.
  • Assist in the preparation of payroll and employee expense reimbursements
  • Support myDATA submissions: basic validations, discrepancy follow-up and coordination with external accountants.
  • Maintain the fixed assets register and support periodic inventories
  • Collaborate with team members to improve existing accounting processes and procedures
  • Handling and resolving queries in a timely manner through effective communication, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Contribute to ERP data quality; collaborate effectively with internal/external stakeholders.
  • Provide general administrative support and assistance to the finance department as needed

Requirements:

  • University degree/post graduate diploma
  • Ideally minimum of 6 months' work experience
  • Excellent knowledge of Greek and English in both writing and speaking is a prerequisite
  • A good level of IT literacy including competency with all aspects of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to maintain excellent attention to detail in a fast-paced, high-pressured environment
  • A high level of organization, able to multi-task with the ability to work to multiple deadlines, effective under pressure.
  • Motivated character with a can do attitude.
