Position

We are looking for a
Junior / Assistant accountant
(M/F) for our BRS Shipbrokers' Athens office.

Your main missions and responsibilities

  • Post & process journal entries to ensure all transactions are accurately and promptly recorded
  • Record invoices in the company's ERP system
  • Assist in reconciliation of bank transactions , invoices , accounts.
  • Monitor & record travel expenses
  • Support month-end/yearly closing procedures according to Group polices & local requirements
  • Ensure compliance with my Data
  • Prepare and upload to ERGANI platform employee monthly leaves
  • Assist with various accounting - HR tasks .

Your profile

  • Accounting or relevant field studies
  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience in accounting department
  • Good knowledge of My Data platform and procedures
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Multi-tasking and prioritizing daily workload
  • Excellent written & verbal knowledge of both Greek & English language
