We are now seeking a
highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant
to support our growing Finance & Administration department.


Your Role:

As an
Accounting Assistant
, you will be responsible for supporting the company's day-to-day financial operations and ensuring accuracy in bookkeeping and reporting. You will also play a key role in
collaborating with our external accounting and auditing partners
, ensuring compliance and smooth year-end procedures.


Key Responsibilities

  • Handle daily bookkeeping, data entry, and invoice tracking
  • Prepare and issue invoices, credit notes, and payment receipts
  • Monitor accounts receivable and assist in follow-up on outstanding payments
  • Support internal monthly and yearly closing activities
  • Reconcile bank statements and assist with general ledger maintenance
  • Maintain orderly financial records (digital and physical)
  • Work closely with
    external accountants and auditors
    by providing required documentation and assisting with audits or financial reviews
  • Assist in preparing financial data for tenders and internal reports
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and local accounting standards


What You Bring

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of
    Microsoft Excel
    and experience with accounting software (Soft1, Epsilon, or similar)
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
  • Ability to handle confidential data responsibly
  • Proactive attitude, with a willingness to learn and grow
  • Excellent communication skills in both
    Greek and English
  • Previous experience in a similar role will be considered an asset
  • Experience working with or supporting
    external accountants/auditors
    is a strong plus
