About the Role

At Taxstore Consulting, we are looking for a motivated
Junior Accountant
to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their accounting career who is eager to learn, grow, and take on real responsibility from day one.

You will work alongside experienced professionals and be exposed to a wide range of accounting and tax matters, primarily for startups and technology-driven companies. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include document processing, bookkeeping entries, and bank reconciliations — all within a modern, digital-first environment. You'll be trained on tools like myDATA, ERPs, and tax portals, while gradually building confidence and knowledge in core accounting principles.

What Success Looks Like

In the first 6–12 months, you'll become comfortable handling daily accounting tasks independently, understanding the workflows of a modern accounting office, and communicating with clients or internal teams with clarity and professionalism. You'll be someone we can trust with volume, deadlines, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities


• Process and record vendor and expense documents (AP)


• Assist with bank reconciliations and transaction monitoring


• Maintain organized records and electronic filing


• Support monthly closings and VAT submissions


• Learn and use accounting platforms and tax reporting tools


• Communicate with clients when needed to collect or clarify information

Qualifications


• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or final-year student)


• 0–2 year of professional experience in accounting or internship


• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and digital tools


• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills


• Eagerness to learn and take initiative


• Fluent in Greek, good command of English
