To support our ambitious growth plans, we are excited to offer an opportunity to join our team as a Junior Accountant.

Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly organized and proactive Junior Accountant to join our dynamic team in Athens, Greece as soon as possible. In this role you will be responsible for managing a range of day-to-day administrative tasks, including financial preparation for external accountants and internal purposes as well as vendor coordination. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our processes and contributing to the efficiency and growth of our organization.

Key Responsibilities


• Collect, organize and maintain records, including invoices and receipts


• Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions


• Review employee expenses to verify accuracy and compliance


• Process payments accurately and on time


• Manage the end-to-end invoicing process, including issuing invoices and tracking payments


• Prepare reports on invoicing activity and cash flow projections


• Coordinate the rental and procurement of equipment and resources for projects


• Act as the point of contact for suppliers and service providers

Requirements


• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a similar field


• Fluency in Greek and English


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace as well as curiosity about AI-powered apps


• Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy


• Strong organizational and time-management skills enabling to meet deadlines


• Communication competencies with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders


• Self-starter qualities allowing to work autonomously and solve problems


• Relevant professional experience is a plus
