Supply Coordinator / Job description

Responsibilities

  • Assign and oversee day-to-day operations of supply systems and parts sales and quoting for our systems and companies we represent, while ensuring achievement of set goals.

  • Hold regular team meetings to determine progress and address any project-related questions or challenges

  • Define and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for progress and sales growth required for specific projects or initiatives

  • Responsible for handling all company software technology (CRM, project management tools, etc.)

  • Enforce health and safety protocol.

  • Preparation of progress reports for senior management.

  • Determine the resources required to complete the project and procure correct materials and bids.

  • Continuously monitors project progress and makes detailed scheduled reports on measurables such as milestones and deliverables.

  • Proactively communicate with all involved staff to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions and implement efficiency improvements.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in Electrical Automation or related field or relevant work experience in the maritime sector

  • Proven understanding of Project Management processes, strategies and methods

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience setting guidelines in these areas for others

  • Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision making and supervision of departmental teams

  • Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality

  • Managerial experience in applying analytical thinking and problem solving skills

  • Ability to anticipate challenges and seek to proactively deal with obstacles
