We are currently recruiting for the position of Operational Development Specialist with the following responsibilities:

• Designs airside infrastructure, such as parking stands, taxi lanes, and markings, ensuring compliance with EASA/ICAO regulations for safety and efficiency.
• Supports as required, the inspection of airside systems and facilities, including pavements and lighting, to maintain operational standards and regulatory compliance.
• Issues Airside Work Permits (AWPs) after coordinating maintenance and construction activities with relevant stakeholders.
• Reviews and updates as necessary the Parking Stand Manual (PSM) using CAD tools and shares information with all relevant parties.
• In collaboration with the Airside Operations and Technical Services teams, assists in monitoring obstacles both within and around airport premises, as well as assessing friction levels in aircraft maneuvering areas.
• Contributes to the preparation, origination, and timely updating of Notices to Airmen (NOTAMs) and Aeronautical Information Publication-Greek (AIP), following established procedures.
• Contributes to the accurate integration of PSM data into the Airport Operational Database (AODB).

The Qualifications and the Skills required for this position are:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 3-5 years of previous working experience with focus on operational planning and process optimization.
• Proficiency in CAD tools, such as AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with data analysis and performance measurement tools.
• Strong understanding of computational mathematics.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment & customer- oriented mentality.
• Results orientation.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on innovation and adaptability.
